Make it Mentoring celebrates with MiM-credible event!

"How would you like to organise an awards ceremony, like the one we just read about?", was a question asked to several of our mentees at Make it Mentoring in October by enthusiatic mentor, Kimberley Vallis. The reply was yes and so a small team of equally enthusiatic young people created, organised and hosted the first annual awards ceremony held on 15th December 2022.

The evening was held in the beautiful and ornate upper room in Chipping Sodbury Town Hall. All event team arrived early to ensure the venue was dressed to impress and welcoming for the mentees and their families that were able to attend.

Over 70 people attended the evening and we able to enjoy the calm and collected ZS and hilarious and witty BP who compared the night. Over 20 awards were handed out for an assortment of different catagories. Both the work of the mentors and the progression and engagement of the mentees were noted and celebrated.

The night was concluded with a delicious buffet with an opportunity for the MiM families to chat, mingle and socialise. 

We hope that all those that attended, enjoyed the night and would look forward to making it an annual event.
